Take a look at their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ldonline.org\/ldbasics\">LDBasics<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ldonline.org\/adhdbasics\">ADHD Basics<\/a> articles for an easy-to-understand foundation of common school challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/Understood.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Understood.org<\/a><\/strong> is a great resource for students of all different types of needs. &nbsp;The site contains information that will be helpful for all stages of schooling, from preschool through college or alternative post-secondary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/misunderstoodminds\/\" target=\"_blank\">Misunderstood Minds<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is an incredible website that has activities for YOU to experience what it is like to have a learning disability in reading, math, writing or attention. &nbsp;If your child is struggling, I highly recommend this site to better understand what your child may be&nbsp;experiencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/The-Whole-Brain-Child-Revolutionary-Strategies\/dp\/1491514817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The\nWhole Brain Child<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;by\nDan Siegel, MD and Tina Payne Bryson, PhD: &nbsp;This book includes\npractical tips for helping children learn emotional regulation and\ninterpersonal skills. &nbsp;Much of the information is presented\nthrough a \u201cgraphic novel\u201d style which is easy to share with your\nyoung or teen child. &nbsp;I love this book because it offers&nbsp;easy\nways&nbsp;to talk about the brain science behind the growing pains of\nchildhood (and parenthood).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ADHD<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A.D.D.
